Our vision is to provide, through fundraising and activities coordination, our student athletes and coaching staff with the best possible opportunities to achieve the objectives for their program. The MVWB Association has three primary goals:
1) Enhance the experience of the student athletes, their parents and family by cultivating a positive, supportive environment that encourages unity within the wrestling program through enjoyable activities and programs designed to benefit every member of the team.
2) Act as a support group to the MVHS Wrestling Program to increase parent participation, generate additional school spirit, increase attendance at all MVHS Wrestling events, and assist in building enthusiasm for and within the MVHS Wrestling Program.
3) Provide the financial resources necessary to help sustain a quality wrestling program.

For our MAVS Wrestling families, we make Booster Membership super easy with optional Memberships ranging from as little as just $10! You can have a Booster T-shirt with just $10 more, or try the Food Donation opt-out for $50. Better yet, become a Family Sponsor for just $100 and we'll give you 2 t-shirts and place your name in the program and on the new Wrestling Sponsors BULL-Board in the gym for one full year! Our dedicated coordinator and committee members become community liasons as they interest local businesses and individuals in partnering with MVHS Wrestling Boosters as financial supporters of the MVHS Wrestling team, offering them Tax-Deductible Booster Sponsorship options ranging from $100 to $1000 that include a variety of advertising avenues at MVHS wrestling events & other forms of media throughout the entire year which can be renewed annually in the Fall. They do their best to invite everyone they know to join our Team Behind The Team.
FOOD COOLERS COMMITTEE
The Boosters organization provides the funding in conjunction with our amazing Treasurer who coordinates the purchase, assembly and management of Food Coolers for both the JV and Varsity teams at every tournament during the 15 week long wrestling season. The food coolers are stored at her home in between each tournament so they are ready for her to coordinate the volunteers. She orders the food items in advance using Walmart.com, making it super simple for volunteers to just swing in and pick up curbside. Volunteers then prepare sandwiches in advance or at the event, manages the contents throughout the two days of the tournament, cleans it up and delivers it back to the Treasurer for the next tournament volunteer. This has proven to be an invaluable service we provide for our coaches and wrestlers. This is how we go the extra mile for our team!

JV TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE
This is our one and only fundraiser for the season with the goal in mind that we make enough to fund the majority of the travel expenses for the team throughout the year. The JV Tournament Coordinator and committee spends countless hours planning, preparing and running the event, with all its many detailed parts, so the more volunteers we can have, the more smoothly the event will go. Volunteer opportunities include set-up, ticket sales, concessions sales, table help, hospitality room attendant, tear-down and so much more. When we say many hands make light work we really mean it...WE NEED YOU!!!

There's no better way to get to know your MAVS Wrestling family than enjoying the best part of volunteering...socializing while serving others! The Boosters organization provides opportunities for ALL parents to help raise money for the team through home dual concessions that include a themed dinner meal item with water bottle sold for $5 along with the sale of the usual concessions items. Don't worry about missing your wrestlers turn on the mat because we only ask Varsity parents to cover the JV match and JV parents to cover the Varsity match. Volunteers like you would be aiding our cause significantly by signing up to donate/cook/bring various food items for the dinner meal, or just volunteering your time to work a short shift of set-up, sales or clean-up through the use of Perfect Potluck.

SENIOR NIGHT COMMITTEE
Help us create a lasting memory and carry on MAVS Wrestling Senior week traditions! This volunteer opportunity is for parents of all underclassmen to join in the planning festivities that will help our Seniors and their parents feel special as they finish out their last home wrestling dual at Mountain View High School.
Senior Night traditions include obtaining Senior Questionnaire's from each graduating wrestler, hanging large printed posters of each Senior in the gym, assembling purchased/donated flowers for the Senior Moms, giving a personalized gift from the Boosters, framing an action shot of each one to be signed by the rest of the team, making candy Lei's for each wrestler, organizing photo shoots for the Seniors with their parents and coaches before the JV match begins, "Momma's of the Mat" photo of the Seniors and their moms inside the circle of the mat, organizing the processional at the start of the Varsity match with the reading of each Senior Questionnaire, and most importantly is communicating with the Senior parents well in advance with scheduling and detailed plans with diagrams for the order of events. There’s lots of little jobs involved in making this night one to remember, so there’s something for everyone!

END OF SEASON BANQUET COMMITTEE
This is our last big celebration to reward the successes of the season for the whole team. Come enjoy a fantastic dinner catered by Texas Roadhouse and a special dessert while we honor our 2018-2019 MAVS Wrestling team with individual awards. This year's event will take place on Monday, March 4th at 6:30-8:30pm at the WestAda District Service Center White Cloud Auditorium on E. Central Drive in Meridian. Free for all wrestlers, stats helpers, athletic trainers, Coaches and their spouses. All other guests just $15, children 10 and under are FREE so don't miss this great event for the whole family! The coordinator and her committee will be hard at work with volunteer opportunities to help with set-up & decor, registration, cake table cutting & serving, buffet line food service, and clean-up, so plan to attend and volunteer for the SignUp Genius option that best suits you. Don't forget that ALL must RSVP or purchase tickets by Mon. FEB. 25th to attend as no tickets will be sold at the door. Since funds from ticket purchases help cover the cost of food and coaches gifts, all guests who attend must purchase a ticket. Thank you for understanding. We look forward to having everyone there so we can show our gratitude to all the coaches and many volunteers that make MAVS Wrestling such a great program to be a part of.
